Unfortunately, Vicna kills Chrissy and Eddie is blamed for her death. In the end, Eddie bravely sacrifices himself to gain time for his friends who are trying to kill Vicna. While both Chrissy and Eddie may be dead, many fans dream of an alternate reality where they are a married couple despite the fact that Chrissy was dating Jason (Mason Day) when she died. In a recent interview with NetflixQuinn addresses Eddie and Chrissy’s ship.
“Eddie had to step in Jason’s shoes pretty intensely,” Quinn said when asked about Eddie and Chrissy’s romance. “It would be great if there was a world in it [they could] Being a rude couple at Hawkins High I think might change things up a bit. ”
“I just wanted to show someone that they feel real,” Quinn added of Eddie. “And what was so much fun was doing that with someone who seemed so weird — to me, anyway… I think, as human beings, we are all multifaceted. And then there’s Situations where you don’t feel that way, and you can feel the opposite, but you’re still the same person.”
